Mural Garden at the Griffith Park Visitor’s Center

Set in the foreground of a handpainted mural and surrounding a seed spire by artist duo Studio Tutto, this small demonstration garden features pollinator-attracting native plants grown from regionally-sourced seeds. The three-part mural by Studio Tutto pays homage to P-22, famous mountain lion of Griffith Park. Seeds that the plants were grown from were collected from the western Santa Monica Mountains where P-22 was born, as well as Griffith Park, where he lived out the majority of his life.
