Mid-City’s Prescott School Micro Forest

The first Miyawaki-inspired pocket forest planted on a LAUSD campus, this 900 square foot forest features native oaks, walnuts, toyon, coyotebrush, and other shrubs. Parents, students, and school staff all participated in the inaugural planting and have been tending to the forest since.
